What is SEO?
Search engine optimization is a set of rules that allow site owners to optimize their sites for search engines, thereby improving their positioning on the search engines. In addition, this is an excellent way to increase the quality of your website by making it easier to use, faster and easier to navigate. SEO can also be considered a framework because the whole process has multiple rules, multiple levels, and a set of controls.

Search engines serve millions of users every day looking for answers to their questions or solutions to their problems. If you have a website, blog or online store, SEO can help your business grow and meet your business goals.
Search engine optimization process:
As I mentioned earlier, SEO is not a static process, but a framework of rules and processes. For simplicity, however, SEO can be divided into three main levels:
- Technical SEO: With technical SEO you can ensure that search engines can easily search and index your website.
- SEO on the site: Rules and content to apply on your site to be compatible with the search engines.
- SEO off site: ways to promote your website or blog to get better results in search results.
The first stage of the SEO process is called technical SEO. As the name suggests, technical SEO has nothing to do with the actual content of a website or the methods of website promotion. This has to do with the configuration that you need to configure to facilitate the work of search engine crawlers. Usually you do not have to deal with the correct technical SEO anymore. However, having problems with crawling and indexing can have a negative impact on your rankings. To conduct a technical review of the SEO audit and to make sure that everything works as expected.
SEO on the website:
The second level is on-page SEO. The SEO on the page mainly refers to the content and other elements that are on a page. Unlike technical and off-page SEO, the main focus of SEO on the site is to provide enough search engine search signals to help them understand the meaning and context of their content. Remember, search engines do not read a page like a human, so they’re looking for signs to find out what a page is about. In this phase, you’ll be looking at keywords, title optimizations, headers, internal links, SEO image, structured markup for data, and other techniques that can send the right signals to search engines. When used correctly, the SEO on the site also improves the usability and credibility of a website or blog. Note that Content Optimization is part of the SEO on the page. Sometimes this is called “SEO”.
SEO outside the site:
The third level is off-page SEO. In addition to the changes you can make to your website to put it in a higher position in the SERPs, you can also improve the position of your website by using it. The off-site SEO is commonly known as building links, but I prefer the term “promoting sites” because a proper way to promote a site involves much more methods and techniques than creating links.

Good content is the most important success factor:
Before you complete this introduction to search engine optimization, be aware that SEO can not help you if you do not have good content. In other words, if you’re trying to run SEO on a website that does not have very good content, your chances of succeeding are minimal. On the other hand, a website with good content can work well with or without SEO. SEO gives the site just an extra boost.
SEO is a must for every web property:
In summary, search engine optimization or SEO is one way to optimize your website so that search engines understand it better and give it a better ranking. This is important because a good SEO approach can attract more visitors to your website, blog, or online store, and attract more customers, make sales, and achieve your business goals.
